A knife artisan in the Upper Aude Valley, I handcraft characterful knives, from the carbon-steel blade to the leather sheath. Every piece is one of a kind, made to order in the shadow of the Puilaurens fortress.

Spirit of the place

Here, the blade is forged in the shadow of a Cathar fortress. At Puilaurens, the last refuge of the parfaits, the stone still remembers those who stood their ground. I work in that spirit: honest, patient knives made to last and to be passed on. What began as a hobby over ten years ago is now my craft.

The craft

Four materials, one gesture

Carbon & stainless steels

My blades are cut from carbon steels (90CrV8, C130, 80CrV2, XC100, XC75, sandwich steel), but also from stainless steels (14C28N, 12C27, RWL34) and damascus steels.

Wood & rare matter

Stabilised local and exotic woods, coloured resins, stag antler, mammoth molar, roe-deer wood: every handle is a meeting of materials.

Hand-stitched sheath

Each fixed knife receives its vegetable-tanned leather sheath, cut and stitched by hand, piece by piece, to accompany it for life.

Made to measure

From bushcraft to the table, every knife is made to order, built with you, to suit its use and the hand that will carry it.
